My name is Cindy Nevarez, and I am the owner of Tempe Dog Sitter!I started my professional pet care career in 1992 with my first pet-sitting service in Stockton, CA. During the next 30+ years, I also ran a rescue, a grooming shop, and then a second pet-sitting service for 15 years in Mesa, AZ.At present, I now have a Daycare/Boarding service in Tempe, AZ!

We believe in building happy, harmonious groups of dogs. That’s why we offer a free trial session to ensure your pet is a great match with our existing clients. During the trial, we’ll observe how your dog interacts with other pets and adapts to the home environment.How It Works:1. Fill out the form on this page and we will be in touch to schedule the trial and send you our contract.2. Make sure your pet is up to date on their Bordetella vaccination for the trial.3. Meet us for the trial session in our home.4. If it’s a perfect fit, we’ll schedule your pet’s first paid service.Payment Options:Zelle or cash accepted on the day of service.
Frequently Asked Questions1. What happens during the free trial session?The free trial session is a chance for us to assess how your dog interacts with other pets and adapts to our home environment. It’s also an opportunity for you to see where your pet will stay and ask any questions. During the trial, your dog will have supervised time with our current “clients” and explore our home and backyard. If it’s a great fit, we’ll move forward with scheduling their first stay.2. What do I need to bring for my pet’s stay?For both daycare and boarding, please bring:~Your dog's vaccination record. Double-check that Bordetella, the kennel cough vaccine, is up to date within the last 6 months.~Your pet’s food and any special treats they enjoy.~Any medications, with clear instructions for administration.~Their favorite blanket, toy, or comfort item (optional, but it can help them feel at home).~For the free trial, don’t forget to bring the signed contract emailed to you.3. Can you accommodate pets with special needs?Absolutely! With 30+ years of experience, we’re comfortable caring for dogs with unique requirements, including administering medications or preparing special meals. Please let us know your pet’s needs during the trial so we can ensure they’re fully accommodated.4. What are your rates, and how do I pay?Our rates are straightforward:Daycare: $30+ per dog per day, or $20+ per caged animal per day.Boarding: $50+ per 24 hours per dog, or $30+ per 24 hours per caged animal.Payment can be made via Zelle or cash on the day of service after your dog’s successful trial session.

Visits to your home start at $35 per visit.~These are based on 30 minutes spent in the home during each visit.~There's no per-animal charge, but the more animals on the premises the more likely more time will be required.~We have vast experience with many different species of pets and of menageries of all sizes.~Whether you have a parrot, an iguana, a snake, a rabbit, a mini-horse, a jumping spider, or a box turtle - or all of these together, we've got you covered!
Some clients may find it more beneficial to have pet care come to their home rather than bringing their animals to a facility.This can be an option if they live within 5 miles of this address: 2195 E Southern Ave, Tempe, AZ 85282.Interested?1. 🐈 Cat Pet SittingMinimum visits for cats are one visit per 24 hours.~within 5 miles of the above address
🦜🐍🐎🐇 Birds & Other Pets:Minimum visits for parrots are one visit per 24 hours - BUT must be for at least one hour each to allow for "out time."Parrots will be let out of their cage during these visits.
